This data privacy statement is provided in English for your convenience. Please be aware that in case of a dispute or discrepancy between the German Statement and this translation, the German version shall prevail.

WMIT respects your privacy and understands the importance of protecting your personal information. We will only collect data we need to fulfill your requests and our legitimate business objectives. We will never send you marketing materials without your consent, and we will never share your personal information with third parties that are not bound by our privacy statement unless you allow us to do so.

Personal data

Personal data or information is details about personal or material circumstances of a given or identifiable natural person (the person concerned). Collecting means in this respect the provision of data by the person concerned himself. Information processing means the saving, deleting, editing, blocking and forwarding of data. Use means any other kind of usage of personal data not covered by processing. WMIT Services & Consulting (haftungsbeschränkt) is entitled in accordance with the applicable statutory regulations to issue information to law enforcement authorities and courts for the purpose of prosecution.
Personal data is information that may be used to contact you on-line or off-line. This data is necessary to establish or change change the contractual relationship between WMIT and the customer (or potential customer). It includes among other things the name, address, data of birth, telephone number and e-mail address.
The regulation in § 29 of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG) allows the commercial collection, storage or amendment of personal data for the purpose of forwarding in particular in relation to activity with credit agencies (par. 6). WMIT Services & Consulting (haftungsbeschränkt) is obliged to provide such credit agencies with the necessary data.

Non-Personal information and Cookies

Non-personal information, alone, cannot be used to identify or contact you. WMIT collects non-personal data about your use of our online and mobile products and services both on our website and software usage (on PC, mobile and other platforms).
WMIT Services & Consulting (haftungsbeschränkt) may collect certain non-personal demographic information including gender, zip code, information about your computer, hardware, software, platform, media, and mobile device. Website tracking – Google Analytics
